On July 29, 2021, founder Kirby Drake gave a presentation, along with Serene Ateek of Jackson Walker, on Fashion Faux Pas: Legal Pitfalls for Fashion Companies to Avoid. Kirby presented a crash course on fashion and intellectual property. She highlighted several cases that relate to fashion and trademarks and copyrights including the Christian Louboutin “Red Sole” trademark dispute, the Adidas 3-stripe trademark disputes, along with copyright protection for street art/graffiti.
